Hi, I’m Sarah.
Experienced business leader, Chartered Manager, and Mental Health Instructor, bringing real workplace experience to every training session.
About Sarah
I’ve spent more than 20 years building and running businesses. I founded a recruitment business from scratch, grew it over two decades, and led teams through everything from rapid growth to a global pandemic. I’ve hired, managed and supported hundreds of people, so I know first-hand how much mental health shapes what happens at work.
I also hold an MBA from the University of Exeter, with a focus on leadership. That combination of academic grounding and real commercial experience shapes how I train.
I’m a qualified Mental Health Instructor, and I personally deliver the FAA Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health (RQF). It’s a nationally recognised qualification awarded by First Aid Awards (FAA), an Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation, and delivered through Nuco Training, the UK’s largest network of professional first aid instructors.
Because I’ve sat in the manager’s chair myself, my training is practical, credible and grounded in the realities of working life. Delegates leave with the confidence to notice when someone is struggling, start the right conversation, and know where to point them for support. That works for frontline teams and senior managers alike.
I’m based in Devon and work with organisations across the South West, in person and online. For more on my business background, visit my LinkedIn profile.
Outside of work, I’m renovating a period property, I’m a keen road cyclist and Mum to two grown-up children.
